Cyber Security Architect

My client, a renowned government agency, is seeking a veteran Cyber Security Architect to join their elite and diverse team on a permanent basis.

The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for the following duties:

• Design & implementation of security architectures and controls
• Protection of critical systems and infrastructure from cyber crime and data loss in line with the overarching strategy and regulatory obligations
• Creation and improvement of security standards and models
• Creation of auditable designs for systems and services
• Creation of security controls around system and service design
• Improvement of existing security configurations
• Provision of security advisory service to project and BAU teams across the business
• Audit and assessment of security services and technology
• Piloting initiatives in emerging security technology
• Drive security roadmaps and policies
• Reporting & compliance around regulatory requirements

The Cyber Security Architect will need to possess most of the following attributes in order to succeed in this role:

• Expertise in security design & architecture
• Expertise across several security frameworks and practices such as PCI-DSS, ISO27001, Essential 8, NIST CSF, PSPF
• Expertise in cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS or Azure
• Adept security configurator
