Based on the West Coast in a supportive team this HRBP role will be busy and varied. One-year contract up to 20 hours per week and possible extension.

Based in Hokitika and reporting to the Human Resource Manager, this generalist role would suit an experienced practitioner able to build strong internal relationships and credibility when delivering advice to senior managers on a variety of people related needs.  Working up to around 20 hours per week, duties include, but are not limited to, employee and industrial relations, performance development and management, recruitment and selection, HR planning and reporting, supporting a variety of employee participation programs and the on-going development of robust human resource policy, process and management tools. 
 
Applicants will have a generalist background, preferably gained with exposure to a varied and blue & white collar environment and experience of working closely with senior managers in the design, development and delivery of robust, pragmatic and commercially oriented people and performance functions.  Excellent knowledge of NZ employment legislation is a must, as is a relevant tertiary qualification matched with the ability to work both strategically and operationally supporting the provision of a creative, collaborative and highly credible service.
