Are a British multinational internet services company headquartered in London. Their Melbourne team run as a smaller group of 30, with strong internal R&D and focus on technology.
Are you a Senior Systems Administrator with AWS, cloud and automation skills?
If so, that’s great. Do you also like:

This role suits someone who doesn’t mind signing into work and often managing their own time and tasks. And running your own day!

It’s not a tick box function and will be a key position in a large migration of an existing platform to AWS.
Important points for you
We’re looking for somebody who can run their own projects and has experience building infrastructure in AWS (i.e. not just managing existing deployments). Also, who would love to continue to build your AWS skills and experience.
Working to build the tech team over four years, we can vouch they have extremely low turnover of staff and an above average level of engagement and positive culture across the environment
This role is newly opened up on a national basis so is available remotely across Australia.
Key Objectives
  • Assisting the delivery of a complex AWS based solution, application and technical architectures.
  • Take the lead of several large migrations of existing platforms into AWS.
  • Implement infrastructure automation.
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of the AWS ecosystem including account management, networking and best practices. Certifications are advantageous but we’d prefer a strong base of knowledge.
  • Practical experience implementing Terraform/Cloud Foundry, and Puppet/Ansible.
  • Systems architecture exposure within high availability web and enterprise environments
  • A good knowledge of networking and security
  • Solid Linux admin skills
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture / containerisation etc
