Come join us: Our Central Sales team have an opportunity for a Sales Rep to join our team!  This role will be centered on existing account management and development of new client partnerships.
 
About the role:
The desired candidate will contribute to our sales growth by building professional partnerships with our existing customers, coupled with focusing on new customer growth opportunities within the plumbing and building area, so getting in front of the key decision makers will be at the forefront of this role.
 
The ideal candidate will have a sound commercial background in sales and account management, you will need to be articulate, have the ability to achieve management objectives and show initiative. Previous knowledge of the plumbing industry would be preferable or previous experience in the trade/building/construction arena.
 
You will own your geographical patch and build strong customer relationships, and drive sales in your region, you will be adding value to not only our business but also our customers business.
 
You will be a person who is focused on sales, results, problem solving, and delivering the very best. 
 
This is a fixed term role for 12 months. The team are successful and we want you to be a part of our success.
 
Some of the things you will be doing:
  • Find ways of adding value to customers & potential customers to grow and form strong partnerships
  • Analyse current customer activity and find where the gap will come from – this will play a key part in maximising sales and increase our share of wallet.
  • Excellent execution of brand activity within accounts and engagement with key clients
  • Reach and exceed sales targets for Plumbing World products and drive sales in the region
  • Work with Branch Managers, inside sales & other branch staff to meet customer needs
  • Execute the Plumbing World brand professionally, drive sales and ensure best practice
As a natural relationship builder you will proactively develop new business and your outgoing personality will enable you to prepare, present and close sales presentations to key clients ensuring that they have the best products to meet their needs.
 
Key role requirements will include:
  • Account management and planning
  • Identifying additional development and engaging directly with relevant stakeholders
  • Lead, develop and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Ensuring business plans support and align with existing and future contracts
  • Deliver commercially viable sales plans in line with the overall company sales strategy
