My client is a well-regarded property financing and investment boutique, specialising in Funding Solutions, Principal Investment and Advisory. They work across Equity, Hybrid Equity, Equity Underwriting, Pref Equity, Mezzanine, Senior and Stretch Senior. The firm works closely with commercial and private banks, institutional and private equity firms.

Due to growth, my client is looking to hire a savvy Associate to assist in the execution of transactions and manage relationships with external stakeholders; including lawyers, valuers, bankers and investors. The culture of the firm is; client-centric, open and accountable.

Upon successful hire you will: 
  • Provide research, analysis and advice on property transactions;
  • Impact analysis for property acquisitions, divestment and other capital management initiatives;
  • Undertaking financial analysis, modeling, and valuation work;
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and mandates for potential clients;
  • Preparation of the Indicative Term Sheets for the Debt Fund;
  • Preparation of Transaction model for the Debt Fund and Debt Fund Credit Paper;
  • Presentation of transactions to Investment Committee Members;
  • Preparation of Binding Terms for the Debt Fund clients;
  • Manage the implementation of Individual debt fund transactions.
  • Ongoing Management of the Debt Facilities including draw-down evaluation and Covenant Management;
  • Maintain compliance and on going knowledge of the requirements of the relevant state, federal local government legislation/regulations and other legal and financial obligations;
The ideal candidate will have: 
  • 3-6 years property related experience, either gained in a Bank or gained through a mix of Banking, Advisory or Funds.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Commerce, Law or Property is preferred. 
  • High level of integrity and judgement. 
  • Strong modeling and valuation skills. 
  • Strong commercial skills and the ability to 'think outside the box' when analysis and structuring transactions. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
