Here is a rare opportunity to join one of New Zealand’s leading business improvement consultancies as they expand to meet an ever-increasing demand for their services. This company takes a partnership approach to consulting. This new position will see you responsible for identifying, planning, driving and supporting key improvement projects for clients throughout New Zealand, providing guidance and mentoring to ensure lasting results.  
  
The role:

We seek interest from candidates with strong experience in managing multiple projects in both large and small-scale manufacturing environments. Key responsibilities of this position are as follows:  
  • Identify, plan and implement key projects resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Create, analyse and maintain key metrics dashboards – planning, tracking and risk mitigation
  • Actively lead projects, achieve buy-in from stakeholders and decision makers
  • Lead and coach project teams.
The person required:

Ideally you will have previous consulting experience however those with a background in senior level operational or project management roles will also be considered. Additionally:
  • A solid skill set in the implementation of LEAN and/or other continuous improvement methodologies along with a broad knowledge of business and functional domains is expected.
  • You will have a relevant Degree, preferably in engineering, business studies or a related discipline.
  • Your instinctive leadership and communication style will be collaborative, influencing and resilient, and your exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to build trust will ensure satisfied customers and repeat business.
