The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and development of this manufacturing facility, we are seeking an energised and committed Production Manager. This highly automated, industrial plant manufactures a superior performing and sustainable engineered product, which has international patents and is backed by Government Innovation Grants.

The Role
The Production Manager will lead a team of Process Technicians in the optimisation and resilience of the production with the opportunity to apply the latest technologies and processes available globally including Industry 4.0 concepts. Key areas of responsibility will be as follows:  
  • Daily management of production, achieving KPI’s, throughput, up-time, utilisation and quality
  • Daily production, labour and asset optimisation
  • Implementation and alignment of strategies to provide a clear sense of direction and focus
  • Production staff HR – recruitment, performance management, fostering business values
  • Coaching/mentoring/training of staff
  • Coordinate enhancements, maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Drive continuous improvement methodologies and ethos
About you
Ideally you will come from a process or mechanical engineering background and have worked in a sophisticated, highly automated manufacturing environment (automotive industry experience ideal). You have inherent leadership and motivational philosophies and strive for continuous improvement.
