The Opportunity
What we’re really seeking is a People Manager and an energetic individual with experience as a leader in a complex manufacturing environment. Through the application of modern supply chain and manufacturing disciplines and people management skills, you will be pivotal in promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement through your hands-on approach. You can expect to:  
  • Take ownership of the end to end performance of Operations, inclusive of production planning, procurement, engineering, quality control, warehousing and dispatch.
  • Champion continuous improvement in manufacturing effectiveness and efficiency and in product quality.
  • Work with your team and with other business units to develop and implement new systems/processes that will improve outcomes across the business.
  • Establish and build a high performing Operations team while working effectively with other business leaders to improve overall business results.
Skills & Experience
Your toolbox of skills and experiences will be broad. You will have:
  • Best practice operational management experience, ideally gained from within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • An influential leadership style, able to facilitate change both within your own team and across the whole business.
  • A track record of successful application of continuous business improvement processes such as Lean.
  • An in-depth understanding of effective ERP, MRP and SOP processes.
  • A focus on results and a leadership style expected of a member of the senior management team, whilst remaining connected with all personnel in the business.
