mecwacare is seeking for an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join our Residential Services team at John Atchison Centre in Hoppers Crossing.

We are seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to plan, design and deliver appropriate and varied lifestyle programs to meet the individual needs of residents at mecwacare John Atchison Centre. This includes assessing and reviewing the lifestyle needs of all residents and evaluating the lifestyle program to ensure positive resident outcomes.
To be successful within this position you will have:
  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure), Diversional Therapy and/or relevant qualification at Certificate IV level.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in residential aged care or community setting.
  • Ability to assess each residents social and emotional needs and design appropriate, individual lifestyle programs to meet their needs.
  • An understanding of the ageing process and caring for older people.
  • Self-motivation with well-developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, delegate and attend to multiple tasks.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Records Check.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWC).
