mecwacare is seeking a Meals Services Coordinator to join our Home Care Services team. This newly created position will coordinate the ordering and distribution of delivered meals to eligible clients and ensure monitoring of the meal recipients health and wellbeing. The meal service provides quality, flexible, delivered meals to individual clients or groups who are assessed as meeting program guidelines.
 
The Meals Services Coordinator is expected to work across two sites in Eltham and Keilor East.
 
 Successful applicants must have: 
  • Health and Community Services Food Safety Supervisor Statement of Attainment from a Registered Training Organisation
  • Current First Aid Level 2 Certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed organisational, problem solving and time management skills
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License
 
Desirable: 
  • Certificate 3 in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability
