Are you a Nurse or Allied Health Professional with an understanding of quality and risk management principles, frameworks and methodology? We are looking for you!

Working closely with the Manager Quality Home and Community Care, members of the Business Improvement Department, and stakeholders across the Home and Community Services, you will instill the principles of continuous improvement and risk management to ensure responsive systems and processes and contribute to a safe work environment and positive outcomes for consumers and service users. 
 
The Quality Advisor is a key role responsible for the ongoing development, monitoring and evaluation of all components of the quality and risk management system including auditing, document development, audit preparation, root case analysis, system review and analysis. The role also provides support and assistance to mecwacare’s other service/program areas as required.
 
Essential key selection criteria:
  • Registered Nurse/ Enrolled Nurse or Allied Health Professional
  • A formalised qualification and/or a minimum of two years experience in quality/risk management
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality and risk management principles, frameworks and methodology
  • Knowledge and experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of systems, processes, policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License
 
Desirable:
  • Comprehensive understanding of the statutory regulations pertinent to Aged and/or Disability Services
  • Knowledge of relevant aged and/or disability service(s) and compliance requirements
  • Registered or former Quality Assessor
  • Experience in policy development
