We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our growing team at Hoppers Crossing Facility. mecwacare John Atchison Centre provides a high standard of service to our residents in this 100-bed aged care and retirement living facility.
  
To be successful within this position you will possess:  
  • Advanced clinical skills and a commitment to high quality care and services 
  • Significant experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience working in an “In charge” capacity
  • Experience in an Aged Care facility preferred
  • Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Able to work all shifts including night shifts
  • Commitment to the philosophy of a person-centred approach to providing care and services
  • Working knowledge of Accreditation Standards, Aged Care funding and Aged Care legislation
  • High level leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
