We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Finance Officer to join our team at mecwacare. The main function of this role is to undertake invoicing and receivables, day to day activities for weekly accounts payable processing, and related functions in a timely manner whilst observing all audit and regulatory requirements. This role will also provide support to other functions within the finance team.
 
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Experience in Accounting/Accounts with a working knowledge of financial procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Strong Administrative, organisational and time management skills;
  • Customer service focused with excellent telephone communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
 
Desirable:
 
  • Dynamics Great Plains system experience
  • Kwiktag document management system experience
  • Experience in use of computerised financial systems relating to residential and / or home care financial services.
