We are seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant to join our residential care team at mecwacare Jubilee House, our newest Aged Care Facility located in Caulfield.
  
To be successful within this position you will possess:
  
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Individual Support.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in Aged Care.
  • Availability to work AM and PM shifts weekday and weekends.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate with older people and their families.
  • Ability to understand and implement resident care plans.
  • Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
  • Demonstrated time management and multitasking skills
  • Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands and a teamwork attitude.
