The Company

This high performing and well renowned Australian employer with an excellent reputation within their niche Industry segment is currently seeking an experienced Case Manager to join their Workers Compensation team on a full time permanent basis.

The Role

Reporting to the NSW Regional Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of between 40-45 end to end Workers Compensation claims within the NSW jurisdiction in conjunction with the relevant Return to Work Coordinators
  • Striving to reduce the overall cost of claims for the business through proactive claims management
  • Developing and implementing case management plans on all significant injury claims
  • Facilitating medical case conferences with injured workers and their treating medical practitioners to provide safe and durable return to work outcome
  • Authorising payments
  • Educating internal stakeholders around their workers compensation responsibilities and the claims process when required

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:
  • Experience in managing workers compensation claims within an Insurer, Self Insurer or specialised Insurer environment
  • Experience in making liability decisions
  • A strong return to work focus and be results driven
  • Excellent communicational skills, both written and verbal
