The Role

We’re looking to hire a Head of Product reporting to the CEO. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Head of Product or a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a growing online marketplace & SAAS product and scale it.

In this role you will:

● Drive the Sidekicker product vision in collaboration with the leadership team which includes the CEO and the heads of Engineering, Operations, Growth and Finance
● Own the product roadmap to ensure the Product and Engineering team are delivering maximum value in line with the company’s objectives
● Use a fast-paced and lean innovation process to validate ideas/product from customer discovery to in-market products
● Generates ideas for new products and services
● Optimize and get the maximum value out of our existing product features
● Monitor and communicate technology trends
● Launch product features effectively internally and externally
● Coach and lead a product manager and product designer

You’ll suit this role if you have:

● Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, working within a user-centric product and design team
● Minimum 2 years of product leadership experience
● Minimum 2 years of people management experience
● Strong knowledge and experience in innovation, user research and validating ideas quickly
● Proven track record at a senior level using product management to solve business problems and create opportunities preferably in a B2B-oriented business with multiple stakeholders
● Proven experience managing product prioritization, roadmap, and delivery of customer-facing functionality
● Deep expertise in operating in an agile environment
● Excellent communication skills and expertise in stakeholder management
● It is desirable but not essential that you have experience working in an online marketplace or an HR/recruitment SAAS product

● This is a full-time position
● We currently work remotely due to COVID-19. In the future, we will return in some capacity to our offices in CBD Melbourne.
