About the role
In this role for a client side project manager you will be managing a complex build on behalf of the client who are a New Zealand state owned organisation. You will manage the project from early stages right through to the completion of construction.
Key tasks include:
  • Design management
  • Procurement and management of consultant teams
  • Programme creation and management
  • Cost management
  • Oversee construction ensuring special requirements are met
  • Manage and build professional relationships with key stakeholders at all levels including internal clients, internal teams, external consultants and contractors
About you
Ideally we are wanting an accomplished project manager with experience managing complex projects with special requirements. You must have strong communication skills and stakeholder management expertise.

You will manage and influence stakeholder groups and lead consultant teams to ensure a high quality outcome for the project.
The ideal candidate would have:
  • Critical for this role is demonstrated experience delivering complex buildings projects in Aotearoa
  • Relevant qualification in engineering, architecture, construction or building science
  • 10 + years’ relevant experience in construction, main contractor, consultancy or client side
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ideally you will also enjoy working with a team and be a great person to work with!
