Cloud Architect

The Role:

Our client are a leading Australian Health business based in the Sydney CBD. Through continued growth and a number of exciting new projects they have an opportunity for a Cloud Architect with experience in Azure cloud and on-premise solutions to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pro-actively manage and maintain oversight of cloud solutions and support of on-premise systems ensuring standards are set and procedures created to ensure other IT Staff can perform their delegated systems administration tasks
• To work closely with the Business Engagement Team, and engaging with the wider IS team, to design and deliver cloud based solutions primarily on Microsoft Azure.
• To develop and maintain the collection and monitoring of performance metrics and compliance with governance, risk and compliance needs
• To participate and contribute to any project relating to solution design and the deployment of systems as needed, while adhering to the  project methodology
• Participate with agile processes and teams across the organisation
• Adhere to and work with the Information Services team to further enhance Infrastructure principles and standards (including cloud and on-premise deployments)
• Pro-actively identify and work with the teams to remediate vulnerabilities relating to cloud systems
• To call out risks for any system or solution design that could impact on the member experience, security design or architectural principles set 

Key Skills:

• Over 3 years cloud networking/system architecture experience in Azure
• Over 3 years System architecture in Windows environments
• at least 1 year firewall support
• Demonstrated skills in cloud solution design, security, deployment, administration monitoring and maintenance
• Demonstrated skills in Firewall monitoring, configuration and administration
• Cloud integration services and design experience
