About the Role:
  
The position works closely with key stakeholders to manage sourcing, interviewing, onboarding and recruitment processes to ensure the organisation hires qualified employees to meet their current and future workforce needs.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide an end-to-end recruitment service and support to leaders in the Home Care Services team including provision of advice, attraction and sourcing strategies, advertising, interviewing and candidate management.
  • Provide advice, support and coach leaders on recruitment policies, procedures, legislation and best practice.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to update current, and design new, sourcing methods, recruitment plans and onboarding processes to ensure the best candidate experience is achieved.
  • Develop and embed efficient recruitment processes, develop and set continuous improvement goals, research and recommend various recruitment opportunities.
  • Participate in external networking opportunities, job fairs and career events.
  • Partner with leaders and People and Culture Advisors to forecast recruitment and ensure recruitment and selection processes are designed to support workforce planning objectives.
  • Work closely with leaders and People and Culture Advisors to forecast future hiring needs and ensure effective utilisation of team members when planning annual budget and yearly roster.
  • Review applicant-tracking software and online screening platforms and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to ensure satisfaction, efficiencies and enhance end user experience.
  • Work with service providers to communicate issues, requirements for new features, improvement requests and software/platform amendments.
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture teams to develop new advertising and recruitment strategies to grow the candidate pool and increase numbers.
  • Produce and maintain training materials such as standard operating procedures and system access and regularly deliver training.
  • Produce and develop Values Based Recruitment documents and regularly deliver Values Based Recruitment training.
  • Manage the Recruitment budget and Preferred Supplier Recruitment Agency Agreements and liaise with preferred suppliers during and post Agency personnel engagement.
Job Requirements:
  • Possession of, or significant progress toward, a relevant tertiary qualification, or significant experience in Human Resources or Organisational Psychology.
  • Proven (minimum 2 years) work experience in a recruitment advisor capacity.
  • Knowledge of contemporary recruitment and marketing practices and opportunities.
  • Hands on experience with applicant-tracking software, online platforms and people databases.
  • Experience with (phone and face-to-face) interviews and candidate screening and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive working relationships and effectively engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • A team player who can work without direct supervision, possesses demonstrated initiative and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Detail oriented and committed to efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of IT applications.
  • Commitment to providing a customer centric approach.

  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the state on a frequent basis.
