About the Role:  

Working closely with a multi-faceted and talented HR team, this position is integral to improving core people processes, driving employee engagement and supporting all elements of the employee life cycle.  This role has responsibility for overseeing employee relations (ER) cases whilst creating opportunities to coach and develop leaders in the positive management of issues as they arise.

Job Requirements:   
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will possess the following:
  • Strong employee relations knowledge with the ability to apply this to a variety of situations for positive outcomes for employees and leaders.
  • Previous responsibility for independently managing a number of ER cases and providing advice and coaching on all aspects of Human Resources and associated legislation .
  • Demonstrated understanding of the contemporary recruitment practices.
  • Able to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with internal and external networks and demonstrating influencing and persuasion skills.
  • Possession of, or significant progress toward a tertiary qualification, or significant experience in Human Resources.  
  • An enthusiastic team player who can work without direct supervision, possesses demonstrated initiative and takes accountability for people issues.
  • Possession of a National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one) and Valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Influenza vaccination on an annual basis.
  • Ability to travel throughout Western Australia on a frequent basis as required.
