ABOUT THE COMPANY – Owned by Jowett Motor Group (JMG); one of Melbourne’s most progressive multi-franchise groups, Eastern Honda is JMGs most established Honda Dealership. Opening its doors in Doncaster in 2001, it quickly evolved into a busy multi award winning dealership, with numerous national awards for customer service and dealership excellence. The continued success of Eastern Honda has led to the acquisition and development of multiple dealerships, which has led to this exciting opportunity.  

ABOUT THE ROLE - Reporting to the Dealer Principal, as General Service Manager for Eastern Honda, you will be overseeing their Eastern suburbs Service Departments and responsible for department Gross Labour, CSI/NPS, department Efficiencies and Productivity, department costs and reporting.
You will be innovative and strategic and have experience in Change Management, integrating yourself into an expanding business and gaining the support of the team.

Customer service is high on your agenda, you see the big picture and want every customer to be full happy with their experience and come back to your department anytime they require assistance or their next service.
You will bring fresh energy and outward enthusiasm, and will inspire your team with new ideas, progressive management approaches and consistency across each site.
                                                                             
YOUR GENERAL JOB FUNCTION;
  • Taking ownership of the customer journey
  • Proactively staging your presence as the department leader 
  • Compliance Management, ensuring Manufacturer Standards are met and exceeded
  • Managing escalations and ensuring customer service is to the highest standard 
  • Utilising company DMS (JMG uses Titan) proficiently and accurately and all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Creating, costing and closing Repair Orders where required
  • Manage department P&L, exceed targets all financial targets and CSI
  • Work with manufactures on implementing business objectives
