The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Aftermarket Sales Representative to drive the sales of our Aftermarket Service & Parts products for our Heavy Equipment Services business department based in Sydney, NSW. 

Your focus will be on re-establishing, qualifying and maintaining contact with small to medium-sized new and existing customers to drive parts and service sales.

Reporting to the National Retail Manager of Heavy Equipment Services, this role would see you responsible for: 
  • Accountability for driving aftermarket sales to new and existing customers 
  • Developing new and existing customer base including cold calling and regular call and visit cycles
  • Sign-up customers to service agreements for scheduled maintenance.
  • Follow up on all New Equipment Deliveries and present service agreement documents to customers.
  • Undertake activities to find new customers, generate leads and enquiries through prospecting
  • Quoting and closing Aftermarket Sales (e.g. overhauls, batteries, chargers, engineering products, attachment, etc.).
  • Contact assigned customers and schedule maintenance as per Equipment Due for Service Schedule.
  • Promote and follow up marketing campaigns.
  
About You
You will have a strong drive for achieving results and possess some mechanical knowledge or desire to learn. Your resilience along with your ability to develop new business and maintain excellent relationships with our existing and new clients through your outstanding communication, organisation and follow-up skills will be essential to see you succeed in this role.

To be considered for the role you must have the following skills and attitudes:
  • Proven sales ability within in a mechanical industry (mobile equipment, heavy equipment, capital equipment, MHE, mining)
  • Strong relationship management experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Outstanding customer service (follow-up & follow-through)
  • Team worker; ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish customer requirements.
