Our client is a leading Australian financial organisation with a very strong global reputation. Services include: Institutional Banking, Advisory, Asset/Investment Management, Retail and Corporate banking. 
In line with the banks recent strategic hiring plans across the group, a position has become available for a Major Incident Manager to join a highly visible and regarded technology team, aligned specifically to Cyber Security Incidents resolution. 

Responsibilities:

As a Major Incident Manager you will coordinate teams and responses for Cyber Security incidents, manage business disruptions accordingly and ensure timely service resolution, all while suggesting and delivering process improvements and implementing change across a global team. 

Experience: 

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Incident Management gained having worked in large enterprise environments and have previous experience of interacting with senior stakeholders both from the business as well as technology. 

-5 years + Incident management experience 
-Ability to multitask and prioritise multiple ongoing technical issues successfully
-Comfortable interacting with demanding senior stakeholders from both the business and technology
-Previous experience of working in an IT related Service industry
-Strong working knowledge of Infrastructure technologies eg.- different Unix Server platforms, Wintel Systems, Networking protocols and collaboration technologies. 
-Previous experience with a service Management Toolkit eg. Remedy
