Hornsby Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced vet nurse to join our team!

Our animal health team offer education, advice and care to all pet parents to ensure their pets have the longest, happiest and healthiest lives possible.

We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Vet Nurse with energy and drive to contribute to our committed and compassionate team.
  
The successful applicant will be required to work an average of 38 hours per week which may include Saturdays, commencing January 2021.
  
The right candidate will have a history of commitment and passion for high-level patient and client care and a dedication to providing industry-leading customer service.
  
  
This role will require:
  • Relevant qualifications and 3 years of work experience
  • An ability and the desire to lead, engage and manage a dynamic and high achieving team
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated client relationship building skills
  • A hard working and a hands-on approach to your work
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with positivity, energy and drive
  • Effective time management and organisation skills.
  • Sound business knowledge and basic financial understanding
  • Previous experience in recruitment activities and onboarding new team members in a veterinary clinic

This position offers a negotiable base salary range of $53,032.52  - $56,316 (pro rata for part-time), dependant on the suitable applicant’s skills and experience. Whilst NVC seeks to source applicants who meet the above criteria and skill set, alternative applicant’s may still be considered. In these cases, the base salary is subject to change to suit.
