Overnight Vet


Overnight Vet required to join Vets4Pets Golden Grove 24 hour hospital.

What is on offer:
  • Full time vets can expect to work an overnight Rotation of 4 nights on 4 nights off

About Us 

Established in 1992 Golden Grove Veterinary Hospital is a 24hr VSBSA accredited hospital. With the recent addition of Smart flow technology and Cubex inventory systems integrated with RX works, the hospital continues to provide a high standards of care to our patients. Our practice offers:
  • 25 Veterinarians across the Vets4Pets group, ranging from 1 to 20+ years’ experience providing a supportive and collaborative environment. With professional interests within the practice include canine and feline internal medicine, exotic and pocket pet medicine and surgery, oncology, emergency medicine, diagnostic imaging, neurology, orthopaedic surgery, dentistry, and behaviour therapy.
  • Access to refer internally to our other 7 practices for services including oncology and rehabilitation services.
  • A team of more than 15 competent and highly skilled Qualified Veterinary Nurses, with one nurse on site 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
  • 4 Consulting rooms
  • 1 dedicated operating theatre
  • 1 wetlab area for Dental procedures
  • Equipment wise we have an ESAOTE MyLab Alpha Ultrasound, Honda HS-2100V Ultrasonic Scanner (aFAST machine), Karl Stortz Telepack VetX Video Endoscope, Digital DR Radiography, Dentistry equipment, Revolution 4DC Dental X-Ray, Suction Unit, Bair Huggers for patient warming, Oxygen Cages, Humidicrib, Syringe Pump, Tonometer, PetMap Blood Pressure Machine, Pulse Oximeter, Idexx Catalyst Machine, Idexx UA Analyser and Procyte machine.
The Opportunity

You will enjoy the challenge of providing After Hours surgical and medical services to patients, with the help from a dedicated team of nurses to maintain excellent standards.  The position will offer the opportunity and financial support for professional growth and development, exposure to a varied case load, interaction with our senior veterinary team and access to the wider VetPartners veterinary community. There is back up support available for the after-hours veterinarians when required.
