We are seeking a highly motivated and Experienced senior Veterinarian

Gatton Veterinary Surgery is located in the town centre of a dynamic and diverse community. We have a friendly and loyal client base who provide us with a varied range of surgical, medicine and wellness cases.  The Gatton team pride themselves on offering a high standard of care and a solution for every occasion. We are supported by a local specialist and emergency hospital to cater for any after hours and referral options.
The exciting news is that Gatton Vets is currently preparing to move to a new purpose- built clinic, with 3 consulting rooms, imaging suite, large surgery, separate dog and cat wards and a large treatment area, a range of advanced equipment will support the hospital in offering the most current diagnostics and treatments for our patients.

Gatton Vet Surgery staff work together harmoniously, and all roll up our sleeves, we are committed to a “work together” culture. We love having Fun Scrub Fridays, team lunches and social events on a regular basis.  

We are looking for an experienced (3-5years +) senior small animal vet with strong surgical and medical skills and confidence in building relationships with clients. We are seeking someone with high energy and drive to make a real difference, with a commitment and passion for quality practice and high standards of care, along with a great team spirit and desire for FUN at Work!!

We are offering a full time/ or part-time 12 maternity leave position. Flexible hours can be negotiated to ensure a family friendly work/life balance. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills with FREE access to our Veterinary Training Centre and a wide range of practical workshops. Leadership coaching and development is also available.  

We are keen to meet and chat with anyone who may be looking to return to clinical practice and looking to find the right team to build a family friendly roster with.

What you can offer us:
  • BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia. 
  • An experienced and confident Veterinarian with at least 2 years’ practical experience
  • A commitment to provide exceptional patient care
  • Ability to oversee the caseload and work autonomously
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship building skills
  • A hard working and a hands-on approach to your work
  • Effective time management and organisation skills
