Veterinarian: South Eastern Veterinary Hospital

South Eastern Veterinary Hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services for small animals!

South Eastern Veterinary Hospital provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services for small animals in a friendly and caring environment. Our aim is to provide the best quality care for all our furry patients. Our clinic is well equipped and includes an extensive in-house IDEXX laboratory, digital x-ray, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring equipment, spacious treatment area and two dedicated surgical theatres.
At SEAH we pride ourselves on going the extra mile whilst providing a fun and vibrant working environment where patient care is paramount. Culture is important to us and ours is based on respect, pride, empathy, resilience, fun and that little bit EXTRA. If you think you can get on board with our values, please, read on!

Who we are looking for:

Our clinic is ideally looking for an experienced surgeon with orthopedic knowledge, but being realistic we would also be keen to find a vet that isn't quite there yet but is looking to take the next step in their career and is keen to learn.
Ideally you will need to show high initiative, ambition and drive to learn.
The friendly team would also consider anyone from a recent grad to a highly experienced vet looking for part-time or full time. Being a great team player, having a positive attitude, enjoying a varied caseload and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment are the most important criteria.
Features of our clinic include:
  • Five-vetteam with years of experience and large roster overlap to provide plenty of support.
  • Large and interesting caseload
  • Supportive, enthusiastic and technically strong nursing team that give ample procedural assistance (radiographs, IV catheter placements, blood collection, intubation).
  • Strong clinical leaders that want to mentor and help grow their team.
  • Well-equipped, 2 storey, 375m2 purpose built hospital with excellent facilities and ample parking for clients.
  • Our clinic is open 7:30am – 7:30pm weekdays, and 8am – 3pm Saturdays. Closed Sunday and Public holidays.
On Offer?
  • Generous Salary commensurate with experience. The team is paid an hourly rate rather than a salary so there’s no expectation of unpaid overtime.
  • Pro Rata Study/annual leave and allowance.
  • Hands on learning in a supported environment.
  • Employee Assistance Program to help our staff thrive professionally and personally
  • Participation in sponsored VetPartners' CE events/seminars allowing you to network and learn within a wider vet community
