Tatura Veterinary clinic is seeking a FT or PT Small Animals Veterinarian 

This position will be a balance of small animal and surgery, It will involve working from the main clinic in Tatura and our small animal only branch clinic in Mooroopna. There is room for development of the equine section of the practice if the applicant desires. Tatura VC was established in the 1920’s, is purpose built and well equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, in house pathology, IM3 dental and orthopaedic surgery capacity. Additionally, there are great large animal facilities with knockdown/recovery padded room, examination/reproduction crush, cow crush, stables, yard and paddocks. Onsite agistment available if you want to bring your own horse. Mooroopna VC is similarly equipped in the small animal areas.

Tatura is located within the Goulburn Valley region of Victoria, 25 minutes from Shepparton and under 200 km from the centre of Melbourne. It has multiple large companies with opportunities for employment for partners including Agriculture Victoria, Tatura Milk Industries (Bega) and the regional offices of Goulburn Murray Water. There are 2 excellent Primary Schools within town and secondary schools are not far away. Tatura has an abundance of sporting organisations to suit any skill level, including cricket, football, netball, basketball, Golf, tennis club, outdoor swimming pool, Soccer club, bowls and badminton. Shepparton, only 25 min away has a wealth of cultural and arts groups including the Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra, award winning Concert Band and Theatre arts groups as well as pubs and clubs.   • BVsc or equivalent, and eligibility to gain registration to practice in Victoria.
  • A commitment to provide exceptional patient care
