Indooroopilly Vet Clinic was established in 1972 in the leafy suburb of Indooroopilly in a beautiful old Queenslander as a standalone veterinary premise. Since establishing 48 years ago we have become integrated into the community and have built a strong reputation for a high level of advice and veterinary care for animals.  Due to our investments in professional development our team has been long standing and our family friendly clinic has assisted in our low staff turnover.
Based in the western suburbs of Brisbane, we provide the local community with easy access to veterinary care. Our large client base trusts and respect our advice, which enables us to provide an extremely high level of veterinary care to their pets.
About the Opportunity 
Our team are looking for a part time Veterinarian to join our team from January, the opportunity is for 25-30 hours a week, although full time hours are available also. This role would include shifts throughout the week (Monday to Friday) and partaking in our rotating 2 out of 4 Saturdays roster.
We are a cohesive friendly team and are looking for a Veterinarian who will connect with our positive and collaborative team culture and shares our vision of excellent Gold standard patient care, alongside client and staff care.
You will work with a supportive team of highly trained and enthusiastic Vets & Nurses who recognize the significance of pets and the place they hold in a family; our client base is committed to their care allowing us to undertake a high standard of veterinary care. Our team has access to onsite equipment to help undertake thorough workups Digital Radiology, Dental Xray, Tonovet Plus Tonometer, Sedivue Urine Analyzer and Idexx Lab

Our future team member will:
  • Hold a BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia
  • An experienced and confident Veterinarian with at least 5 years’ practical experience
  • Someone who is passionate about surgery
  • A commitment to provide gold standard patient care
  • Ability to oversee the caseload and work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship building skills
