We are seeking an exceptional veterinarian to help fulfill the after hours till midnight and weekend component at our well equipped main hospital.

We are seeking an experienced veterinarian with exceptional clinical and people skills who takes pride in practicing high quality small animal medicine and surgery.
Although primarily a clinical position, this will suit an individual wishing to take an active role in the growth and success of the practice. A positive can do approach to work is a must, with an ability to show initiative, take on responsibilities, be flexible and work independently. Competence and efficiency in general surgery is highly desirable for this position.
The successful applicant will be joining a dedicated veterinary team at a well established practice. The hospital is well equipped in a fantastic location with excellent clients.

The Role and You
We are seeking an exceptional veterinarian to help fulfill the after hours till midnight and weekend component at our well equipped main hospital. In addition to general surgery, the successful applicant will be skilled to perform significant orthopaedic and more complex surgical caseload from our group of 4 practices.  They will be encouraged to play an integral role in the support and development of the veterinary team in relation to surgical recommendations and management of cases.
Your skill set would need to essentially include the following:
  • Great client communication.
  • A strong desire to practice quality veterinary medicine
  • Able to perform a routine abdominal ultrasound and / or F.A.S.T. scan
  • Comfortable working autonomously, but supported by a strong nursing and veterinary team
  • Willingness to undertake some routine general practice work.
  • Dedicated to excellent patient care
  • Members Qualified (desirable)
