Aberfoyle Hub Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time receptionist to join our team!
The Clinic:
Aberfoyle Hub Veterinary Clinic is a small animal veterinary practice located in
the Hub Professional Centre in Aberfoyle Park. We have a dedicated team of 4
vets, 5 nurses, 1 receptionist and a practice manager, who provide best
practice care and treatment to pets. Our ethos focuses on maintaining a
friendly, ‘family’ atmosphere where our clients can bring their pets to be
treated by people they know and trust. We have all types of fancy gadgets such
as Ultrasound machine, Digital X-ray, Dental X-rays, and IDEXX machines.
The role:
We are currently looking for a part-time receptionist. Flexibility to cover other shifts as needed will be viewed very favourably.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
• Ability to work well within a team setting, and multi-task under pressure
in an often busy work environment.
• A keen desire to learn and deliver an excellent standard of customer
service at all times.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Excellent general literacy, numeracy, computer and organisational skills.
• Excellent money handling skills
• Excellent communication skills, in person and on the phone.
• Compassion and understanding for both pets and their owner.
Some experience working in a veterinary or human-aligned medical setting as
a receptionist will be regarded favourably, however full training will be provided
for the right candidate.
