Seeking an enthusiastic Senior Payroll Officer with Sage MicrOpay experience for 6 month assignment in South- Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Our Recruitment division is a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the supply of Payroll staff, with a particular focus on payroll professionals who are experienced with our own software MicrOpay.
  
Our Client is looking for a proactive and adaptable Senior Payroll Officer to join their team for 6 month period. Working full time hours as a Sage payroll contractor in South-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. 
  
About the Role
  
This role will see utilise your end to end skills and make a positive impact within a highly successful and booming organisation whilst working within a supportive, close-knit payroll department. 
  
Duties
  
Your responsibilities will include but will not limited to:
  • Processing end to end payroll using MicrOpay
  • Answering complex queries from a range of different employees and providing clear advice to employees and stakeholders
  • Carrying out checks and processing reconciliation procedures
  • Process all leave entitlements including annual leave, sick leave and maternity leave
  • Strong understanding of EBA’s and Awards and be able to interpret correctly
  • Other duties as requested
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience using MicrOpay is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to liaise with executive staff members and communicate effectively
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and balance conflicting workloads
