Role
  • Reporting to the CEO, you will primarily be responsible for spearheading the day to day functions of the finance team.
  • This hands-on management position also requires you to work closely with Operations, Commercial & Product teams to align financial workflows with Haulio’s strategies and goals.
  • You will also have great opportunities to be involved in new initiatives and ad-hoc projects, in the dynamic environment of a start-up.

You will work closely with:
  • CEO – in aspects relating to financial projections up to 5 years, cash flow forecast, cash management, budgeting, investors reporting and setting up of group structure.
  • Experience in Fundraising & Investors Relations with an existing networks for fundraising channels.
  • Financial modelling, due diligence, valuation and preparation of investor presentations.
  • Operational accounting team – in aspects relating to monthly financial close processes, system/process improvements, internal controls, tax and audit matters.
  • Regional accounting team – in aspects of setting up finance team and processes, reporting timeline and guidelines, accounting advisory, system integration.
  • Other teams – in aspects of integrating finance workflows with the other functions.
 
Requirements
  • Degree qualified with minimum 4 years working experience, with at least 2 years in audit
  • Exposure in setting up group structure and handling group consolidation
  • Basic knowledge in financial projections and budgeting
  • Highly independent and motivated
  • Comfortable to wear multiple hats as and when required
  • Able to lead and guide local operational team and overseas finance team
  • Great interpersonal skills, who can communicate effectively with regional and local stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
