We are seeking to appoint a Theatre Services Manager in our client’s not for profit hospital with a core focus of providing leadership & direction to the perioperative service with skills that complement its strategic direction & operational processes.
 
Position Summary
 
The Theatre Service Manager will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective leadership and management of the Operating Theatres, Recovery, CSSU and Surgical Admissions Unit.  A leader responsible for patient outcomes, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, business management, and leadership.

Essential Criteria
  • Registered Nurse with current unconditional AHPRA Registration
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hospital perioperative environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated high level of Perioperative clinical knowledge and skills
  • Previous experience in a leadership role understanding budgets & business development strategies.
  • A customer service focus for VMOs, Patients, Employees & the business
