Our client is a well-established and prominent tax accounting and business advisory practice located in the beautiful Gawler / Barossa Valley region.  They place a high emphasis on a happy work environment, team collaboration and investment in their staff’s continuous professional development.

Duties & responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
  • Attending and supporting client meetings and appointments (tax compliance/planning)
  • Liaising with clients regarding queries and tax advice whilst providing amazing service
  • Researching and providing detailed client information
Skills & experience:
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role working in an Australian public practice  
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and retain effective client and colleague relationships
  • Tangible achievements in preparing financial accounts, income tax returns and activity statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships 
  • Current experience with accounting software packages such as MYOB AE and/or Xero
  • Confident and clear communication and interpersonal skills
