ETL Analyst required for a growing, innovative company in a newly created position.

ETL Analyst will contribute to the direction of the performance and analytical functions, ensuring effective internal controls, responsible for creating, improving, maintaining system connections and data integrations.
The ETL Analyst Developer will be responsible for development of various parts of the data infrastructure: data modelling, developing and deploying ETL packages as well as other types of data transfers between source systems.
This role will support the increased management and operation report needs to ensure accuracy, logic and an ability to communicate complex ideas among the businesses. It will support Business Analyst(s) to interpret data and turn it into information which can offer ways to improve the businesses, affecting business decisions.

The responsibilities (but not limited)
  • Design and develop data transfers from source systems (on-premise, cloud) into the DW
  • Develop and implement complex Extract Transform Load (ETL) and/or Extract Load Transform (ELT) processes
  • Determining data quality and integrity in Data Warehouse
  • Read, analyse and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible processes around those goals
  • Data modelling with discovering, analysing, and specifying changes to how software systems create and maintain information
  • Working alongside teams within the businesses or the management team to translate reporting requirements into data warehouse requirements
The successful candidate will have the following skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT/Computer Science or related fields
  • Well-rounded and extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing, dimensional data modelling and Business Intelligence is required (3+ years) (Multi-Dimensional Modelling and tabular modelling ssas)
  • Experience with cloud environments and tools
  • Experience in TSQL development and performance tuning
  • Hands-on development experience in ETL (Microsoft SSIS / Azure Suit)
  • Experience in SSIS deployments / SQL Agent scheduling
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Demonstrate an understanding of technology and digital frameworks in the context of data integration and data analysis
  • Proven ability to diagnose information systems, analyse data, and make recommendations for systems improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
