We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. Reporting to our DevOps Team Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery, maintenance and troubleshooting of AWS infrastructure and related services.
  
  
In a nut shell, you'll be:  
  • Managing and prioritising DevOps Project, Issue and Request tickets
  • Managing permissions for IAM users, roles and policies
  • Managing new service requests (ECS services / Lambda / cloud front) using in-house and industry tools (TeamCity)
  • Troubleshooting errors with new and existing stacks including:
    • o Network connectivity (Security Groups/Routes/VPN/Transit Gateway)
    • o Infrastructure issues (ECS,EC2,S3,DDB,Lambda etc)
    • o Application lever errors (Working with developers directly and retrieving info from logs
  • Innovation and design for new, current and legacy systems and workflows
  • Security focus and planning with SecOps team for new and existing infrastructure
  • Deploying updates and changes to LEAP products
  • Documentation and guides for DevOps processes
  • Monitoring and on call for critical service outages (approximately one week in 10)
  • Attend meetings with 3rd party vendors
  • Attend monthly business review meeting with AWS
  
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Strong AWS Experience
  • Good experience scripting with PowerShell/Bash/Python
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD
  • AWS Code Pipeline, TeamCity, Jenkins and Puppet (in order of preference)
  • Strong experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Good experience within MS and Linux environments would be advantageous
  
  
You're also going to need loads of:
  • Experience with Security/Compliance tools ie CloudConformity, Crowdstrike (desired)
  • Cloud Formation (desired)
  • Json and Yaml (desired)
  • Docker (desired)
