About the role

Joining a close and collaborative team, you will work closely with the Head of People & Culture, People & Culture Business Partners, People & Culture Consultants, Senior Payroll Officer and wider team members to deliver services and business outcomes. 

You will play an active role in making our goal to be a "Top 15 Great Place to Work" a reality. You'll be a key piece of the People & Culture jigsaw, providing administrative and logistical support to the team, enabling us to deliver on our commitment of making AC3 a truly great place to work.

This is a very diverse role and some of your responsibilities will be:
  • Deliver a stellar new starter Onboarding and induction, ensuring that new AC3ers feel welcome and are in a position to hit the ground running
  • Prepare and maintain employment documentation & records
  • Coordinate the probation process for all employees
  • Assist with the cessation process for exiting employees
  • Update and maintain data in our HR and payroll systems
  • Assist with periodic processes like remuneration reviews, performance reviews, WGEA reporting, Great Place to Work
  • Assist with writing and updating policies
  • Research topical HR and ER trends and provide insightful ideas
  • Build constructive and genuine relationships internally and be a champion and ambassador for our culture, ways of being & EVP
  • Join our Culture Committee and contribute to our workplace culture initiatives - we're open to all ideas!

Skills & experience
  • Previous experience as an HR Coordinator/Administrator
  • Experience supporting a team in an administrative function
  • General understanding of HR best practice
  • Strong ability to effectively interact with people at all levels
  • Proven experience developing constructive working relationships with everyone, maintaining privacy & confidentiality
  • Strong team player with a 'No task is beneath me' mentality
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Proactive with a keen interest to learn from others
  • Outstanding attention to detail, time management and punctuality
  • Eager to learn from others
  • Tertiary HR qualification or working towards
