About the role
You will be joining our Melbourne team in a BDM role.  This is a pure BDM role, where you will receive a some warm leads; the remainder will be yours to generate.  With services stretching across the IAAS space, our offering is broad and our reputation in market speaks for itself.  With access to cutting edge tech; and Industry leaders at the helm of our business, you will be able to provide market leading solutions to your customers.
Driving strong relationships and quality service offerings will see you as a successful BDM in our business.  You are customer centric at your core and seek to provide your customers with an industry leading technical solution that solves their business problem.  It is integral that you possess the skills to identify and nurture new opportunities for growth, managing them through to fruition.  Through the development of strong relationships, you will seek referrals and identify opportunities for new transactions.  Leveraging these relationships, you will drive growth within your portfolio and be rewarded well in the process, with a strong 30, 60 and 90 day plan.
You will also have a vast territory to map and Victoria will be shared by a very small BDM team.  You will be supported with some warm leads, but your natural entrepreneurial spirit will see you identify opportunities and nurture these opportunities to completion.  You will enjoy working autonomously to achieve your targets as you see fit; and will thrive in this kind of mature environment.

Importantly, you will also work with the technical side of our business to ensure customer’s solutions are delivered on brief.  Your priority will be to ensure we provide quality technical solutions to solve your customer’s problems.  You know how to manage in a complex, enterprise eco-system to get the best results. Your sophisticated and nuanced approach will enable you to leverage our cutting-edge tech to deliver results for your customers.

Skills & experience
  • Do you have experience in IT B:C sales? Preferably with a SI, but open to looking at Software background also.
  • Do you have experience managing customers in the areas of public and private cloud?
  • Are you well net-worked? A hungry, passionate salesperson?
  • Can you navigate a complex organisation to service your customers requirements?
  • Do you have excellent literacy, numeracy and problem solving skills 
  • Do you "Think outside the box"
  • High level of emotional intelligence and motivation to succeed 
  • Goal oriented and results driven
  • Ability to present, communicate and negotiate with C-Level Stakeholder
