About the Role

Our technically talented and dynamic DevOps team provide augmented technical human engineering to our customers to help them continually improve and innovate their products.

In this role you’ll be an individual contributor, acting as an extension of the customer’s team and ensure they receive the highest standard of technical expertise.

Your main responsibilities will be: 
  • Perform hands-on automation tasks to treat infrastructure-as-code
  • Participate in code and design reviews
  • Provide execution of activities related to infrastructure, security, continuous integration, continuous deployment, IT Operations and metrics
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including System Administrators, Developers, Testers, Architects and Business Analysts
  • Log and prioritise all requests/incidents accurately through ITSM tool, and customer tools where required
  • Recommend automation of processes to ensure expedited technical delivery for customers
Skills & Experience
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline (or have equivalent industry experience)
  • 1-2 years of experience working with AWS and Azure in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems 
  • Experience with tooling and programming languages such as Bash, Git, Jira, CloudFormation, Jenkins and Ansible
  • Experience working in an AGILE environment. 
  • Experience with Python and/or Ruby
  • Experience using service management tools, ideally ServiceNow
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • AWS certifications highly regarded or willingness to complete them
