About the role
Our client is looking for an Engineer with a passion for IT, problem-solving and customer satisfaction.  This role will concentrate on data centre solutions and support through a software deployment project. This is a Sydney based role, with modern offices located in Macquarie Park, reporting into the global Managed Services team. If you will enjoy a challenge, thrive on problem-solving and be willing to go that extra mile, this is the right opportunity for you.
  • Deploy Medical IT systems in a private cloud environment.
  • Operate and provide support for the systems.
  • Continuously improve the deployed systems and use automation of various kinds.
Skills & experience
  • At least a three years of university education in engineering science or IT with very good grades.
  • Experience with virtualisation and private cloud e.g. VMWare, HyperV, Openstack.
  • Experience in Windows Server system administration, Active Directory or SQL Server.
  • Experience in Linux system administration.
  • Experience within IT Security.
  • Experience of software development using Microsoft technologies (C#, .Net, SQL Server).

  • You are a team player who likes to collaborate and has a genuine interest in IT and an ability / willingness to learn more.
