The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst is responsible for executing project activities throughout the end to end lifecycle for  Trade Promotion Management Solution (TPM) to help drive the appropriate business processes and technology solutions aligned to deliver the agreed project scope, business outcomes, and associated benefits

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

Support development of business processes and reporting requirements within the TPM solution, including understanding business wide vs. user specific analysis and ensuring solutions are developed in an efficient and effective manner, including:
o Accruals processing and reporting
o Claims processing and reporting
o Commercial/Marketing calendar input and maintenance
• Ensure the TPM tool effectively integrates ongoing with other relevant business tools, both Phoenix APS and EPM tools and wider business tools such as JDE and GBI.
• Maintain a clear understanding for what is and is not being delivered
• Ensure the program mantra of 80/20 rule ‘80% global standards & 20% regional variations - only where there is a regional mandate or no alternative exists’ is upheld

Qualifications and Experience 
  • 5+ years in a commercial finance role with a preference for experience in implementing technology solutions or having a strong system understanding background
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Wine or FMCG / CPG industry experience is preferred
  • Highly skilled in MS Excel
  • Demonstrated examples of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and managing business needs in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability to maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that works well with vendors, stakeholders, co-workers and management
  • Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
  • Service orientation and ability to translate technical ideas into non-technical language
  • Strong intellectual capacity, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Excellent task management and organizational skills
  • Sound understanding of IT landscapes and data movements, including reporting

  • Requires the ability to travel at certain periods throughout the project
