Identified Team Leader role supporting families of children at risk of being removed into care.

Client
Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by a leading welfare organisation that supports vulnerable people across NSW, to assist in the recruitment of an identified Team Leader to work in their program that supports families where there is a risk of children being removed into care. The position is on a full time permanent basis, based in Western Sydney.

Role
As the successful candidate your role will be to lead and support a team of case workers in order to help families and their children. You will support the case workers and lead from the front, whilst backing interventions that identify strengths as well as areas of risk. You will also assist with other areas including linking the family to other services such as housing, employment and health care.

Criteria
As the successful candidate, you will have:
  • Leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in child protection.
  • Cultural competence and experience working alongside CALD and Aboriginal families.
  • Tertiary qualifications in social work or related fields is desirable.
  • Drivers licence.

Further Info
