Afternoon / Night Shift Production Operator 

We are recognised as a world leader in the research, development and manufacture of advanced polymer fabrics.

Based at our Braeside facility, our operators are the creators of category leading coated fabrics and paper for use in the agriculture, landscape, mining and packaging industries. 

We are searching for Production Operators to join our established team, enhance our collective skill set and to bring their experiences to Gale Pacific. 

The role of a Production Operator would require you to:
  • Follow all OHS and operating policies and procedures contributing to our safe working environment and culture
  • Operate machinery and equipment to safely produce timely, accurate and high-quality products and deliver production schedule
  • Follow the requirements of our Quality Management System, identify errors and trouble shoot to find solutions and continuous improvement
  • Utilise computer based operating systems, material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, pallet jacks and roll lifting aids
  • Consolidate and manage order fulfilment, pack and dispatch within production and distribution warehouses to meet customer demand
  
In addition to this, the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment coupled with sound communication skills is required. Given the technical and mechanical nature of the role, good levels of numeracy, literacy and attention to detail along with a solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and Quality standards will see you exceed in this position. Your willingness to collaborate, learn and embrace flexibility will also be enable you to succeed in this role.
