About the Company:

Our client is a growing and innovative mining company that has recently been awarded major contracts across WA and Australia, specialising in open pit mining from mine establishment, management, production, processing, rehabilitation and also having their own fleet of machinery from trucks and excavators to drill and blast rigs. This expanding company is at the forefront of mining in Australia.

About the Role:

We are urgently seeking a competent Warehouse Coordinator to monitor and report on the company's inventory. This important role requires the efficient handling of products, supplies and record keeping. The goal is to ensure all business operations have adequate materials to achieve their goals and is a critical role for the attainment of the overall business goals. 

Responsibilities:
  • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedure
  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages 
  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels can cover direct demand from customers 
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
  • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
  • Place orders to avoid insufficiencies or excessive surplus
  • Analyse data to anticipate future needs
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff 
  • Report to upper management on stock levels and issues 
Essential requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
  • Ability to track inventory and create reports 
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • BSc/BA in business administration, logistics or relevant fields
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CPIM) would be a plus
  • Drivers Licence 
  • Forklift ticket
