The Role: 

Experienced Bid Manager to join an established team of construction professionals to tender on some of NSW most complex and challenging commercial projects in the $1 Million- $30 Million bracket minimum.

Your role will see you work closely with the Marketing, Estimating and business development teams to successfully secure tenders across NSW in highly complex, difficult to deliver construction projects. An exciting, fast paced role that will see you tender 3 – 4 per week or various sizes in one of Australia's most respected commercial contractors working in a large, talented and vibrant team.

The Person:
  
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role ideally within the commercial refurb industry and have a good understanding of the NSW Commercial Construction market.

You will be coordinating the activities of the estimating and marketing departments to produce tenders on projects up to $50 Million in value. 
  
This role might suit a very experienced bid manager or also perhaps a project manager with extensive tendering experience and a strong understanding of the software packages utilized in the formulation of tenders – this role is for a technical bid manager with a knowledge of building rather than a graphic designer / bid coordinator.

Strong Tier 2 business specialising in new build construction & fit out/ refurbishment across multiple sectors including health, education, hospitality, commercial & government. You could be tendering on anything from a full city high rise refurbishment to a hospital redevelopment.

The company operates right across the Australian landscape and continues to grow across each office. There is already a number of very high profile projects secured for 2019 - 2020 and it looks like gearing up to be the companies most successful years to date. 

Responsible for the following:
  • Full production of capability statements, expressions of interest & tenders documentation for submission
  • Post Tender presentations & documents for both internal and external use 
  • Coordinating closely with Marketing and estimating on strategy 
  • Providing Technical support to the estimating and marketing teams

Salary on offer is in the $150K - $200K bracket depending on experience
