IT Systems Engineer

With all of this engineering aspiration we need of our first ever IT Systems Engineer to make our flywheel go that much faster.  Involvement will be in every area of our business from resolving internal IT issues to implementing IT-related infrastructure projects and optimising the support systems that power our engineers.  The point of difference is knowledge or experience with CAD to really support our engineers.

About The Role:
  • Provide day to day support and maintenance on company IT systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Implement IT application projects and develop existing applications.
  • Provide advice on hardware, software, process, input into IT architecture, and execute what is needed.
  • Facilitate expert outside assistance where required to implement systems or processes.
  • Manage and maintain the CAD archive server and client system, implementing and managing engineering file systems.
  • Advice and management of supplier relationships.
About You:
  • Previous working experience in IT support for 3 years.
  • Operating knowledge of core Microsoft Office 365 functionality with experience in SharePoint, OneNote, Teams and other MS apps an advantage.
  • Tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline, or recognised qualification(s) appropriate to the role.
  • Confidence to influence management and provide technical advice at governance level.
  • Commercial awareness to manage supplier relationships.
  • Experience working with CAD preferable but not essential
