VOYCE – Whakarongo Mai is a national independent charity organisation which advocates for and connects tamariki (children) and rangatahi (young people) who have been or are in care. At the centre of their kaupapa is the belief that the voices of tamariki and rangatahi in care need to be kept at the centre of all decisions made about them. A small, nimble, and agile organisation, VOYCE has teams across the country and works closely with a wide range of stakeholders.
Due to a secondment, we are seeking an exceptional Accounts and Office Administrator (Kaiawhina) to join the VOYCE team. Reporting to the Business Manager (Kaiarataki) you are the go-to person and admin guru for a range of accounts and admin support and coordination to the team nationally, who are changing the game for the way voices of young people impact the care system.
You are a natural when it comes to organising and managing competing priorities - in fact taking ownership to get the job done is what you are all about.  You are the first point of contact to both internal and external stakeholders in this dynamic work environment.  Known for your warm and welcoming manner you place a high value on this approach, with an appreciation of other cultural perspectives and practices.
You will have proven experience in an accounts payable/receivable role, ideally in either Xero or MYOB accounting systems.  Technology savvy, with intermediate MS office skills, your attention to detail and drive for quality is key. A self-starter with a positive mindset, you are open to learning and sharing with the team.

You will enjoy a rewarding and relaxed environment where the values reflect what this organisation is about. Join a team who believe that it is only in working together that the vision of building a community of children and young people in care will be realised.  To apply please follow the link.
