About Storypark
Storypark creates tools for educators, early childhood education services and families to collaboratively document, share, discuss and strengthen the learning and development of children. Our purpose is to help every child fulfil their unique potential, by connecting and empowering the community around them.

It’s a really exciting time for us! We’re well established as market leaders in the early childhood online education space in New Zealand and Australia, and we’re now on a mission of global expansion to deepen the impact our product creates.

The opportunity:
You’ll join us as our Product Manager focussed on running growth experiments.  Sharing our passion for our purpose you’ll own our product-led growth strategy, experiment roadmap and execution of key product initiatives focused on creating demand and finding fit with a global audience.

Focused on deeply understanding user journeys, you’ll surface barriers and friction preventing customer value. You’ll drive strong decision making through quantitative results and A/B testing, and qualitative research and customer insights to extend our global impact.  You’ll be able to demonstrate the success you’ve had driving growth through experiments.

Leading your squad you’ll ensure we deliver product experiences and infrastructure that enables growth. This role is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys the intersection of Product and Marketing, using data to help communities have a positive impact for millions of children.

What you’ll be doing:
  • partner with our sales, marketing and customer leaders to ensure your plans and roadmaps are aligned
  • outline how we’ll deliver experiments and features that accelerate and enable growth
  • create dashboards with key metrics for actionable insight, building a deep insight through data
  • unearth areas of friction in the product, ideate and generate prototypes, testing assumptions
  • investigate reasons for churn and why customers aren’t converting
  • write clear specs and wireframes that communicate your plans
  • communicate a clear strategic focus ensuring everyone understands the ‘why’ behind the work
  • own the success and failure of your squads work always striving to learn and improve
  • work with other product leaders to contribute to our broader product vision and strategy.
What you’ll bring:
We want our PM team to be well-rounded – we don't expect you to tick all the boxes, but we will be looking for demonstrated strength in a range of areas, including:
  • 3+ years experience as a product manager, product owner or similar role responsible for running multiple experiments to drive up key metrics
  • diplomacy, you’re able to work well cross-functionally and interact with a wide variety of personality types and biases
  • strength working with analytics and measurement software tools, coupled with strong data interpretation and analysis skills
  • customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution balancing between strategy, feasibility and customer needs
  • strong technically, you understand or have the desire to know how software is built, packaged and deployed
  • strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
  • passion for great user experience and interaction design
  • biased towards speed, you crave results as quickly as possible and deploy a lean scrappy get-it-done mindset
  • comfort with ambiguity; the ability to lay out and test clear hypotheses and problem solve without well-defined direction
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • a growth mindset, we value curiosity and collaboration
  • bonus if you can comfortably write your own SQL queries.
