The Organisation

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Communications and Government Relations, this is a varied and creative role where no two days are the same.  As the Communications Advisor your role is to enable the investment operations of NZGIF to engage with key audiences, and for NZGIF’s purpose and achievements be visible to the market. The Communications Advisor will engage directly with government and non-government stakeholders to inform, connect and educate on NZGIF’s growth and development.  Some responsibilities include, but won’t be limited to:
  • Stakeholder engagement;
  • Media, PR and communications;
  • Brand management; and
  • Internal communications.
The Person
We are looking for an agile and dynamic communications professional with flawless written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker who can anticipate and mitigate potential risks and has well developed time management and organisational skills. You will be someone who thrives in an ambiguous environment, you love being thrown a curve ball and relish in the problem solving.  You are also someone who understands the intricacies of the political landscape and are commercially savvy.
